does Airbnb provide proof of liability insurance?

Hi -

I am a renter, with a lease in San Francisco, CA.

For San Francisco, CA, the Short Term Residential rental registration requires the host to provide proff of liability insurance in the amount of no less than 500,000 USD.  Does Airbnb provide this for hosts who are renters? thanks in advance.

Trying to figure out the same thing. I think we basically need to show the Host Protection Insurance as proof of liability as it's up to $1m. But how does one get proof of insurance for this? Did you ever figure this out?

Anyone have any luck with this? Facing similar issues/pushback from Airbnb. Seems incredibly sketching for Airbnb to say “you’re covered” but then never be willing to actually give you any proof of coverage.

If somebody could post the SF requirement I would be happy to have a look and see if the limited cover provided by ABB would meet the requirements.
