giving a partial refund

A guest who was booked for two nights decided to only stay one as our dogs could not get along. We both felt badly and I'd like to refund the 2nd night's stay. However, I don't know how to do so since all I can see if a 'full refund.' Ideas?

Hi @Alison3,

Please check out my "How To" guide on using the resolution center.  You will choose the option "Offer partial reimbursement".

I hope this helps!

Thanks for your answer. What I happened to find confusing is that partial refund is called "partial reimbursement". The term makes it sound as if one is partially reimbursing the guest for some cash layout that he made -- Like if he needed a hairdryer, bought one and left it behind for the use of future guests. I wish that "partial refund" was called just that.
