got 5 star rating in all categories but then overall rating was 3 stars?

got 5 star rating in all categories but then overall rating was 3 stars?

I had my first guest as a new host and the feed back from my guest was very positive. I scored 5 stars in all categories but then received a 3 star rating? How is this possible? I do not understand why my overall rating was so low when I got top markis for everything. Plus its very difficult to contact Airbnb to correct this error. Can anyone explain or help me out?

The guests also rate the overall experience and that's what they've chosen to give you. I've had the same experience ... Everything five stars, overall 4 stars. It caused me to lose superhost status at the time. There will be other hosts who can confirm the exact same experience - Airbnb will not change it, as it's all down to your guest.

Check with your guest - they may have made a mistake. If so they can ask Airbnb to correct it - or if you message them via the Airbnb platform and they reply that they thought they gave u 5* then you can contact Airbnb and see if they will change it for you
