guest going away half way through an existing booking

A guest would like to go away half way through a booking and wants to open up the nights they are away. How do I do this without cancelling the entire booking?

Not exactly clear to me what you mean, but if you want to shorten the reservation:

Thanks for this.  Sorry for the brevity! The guest wants to remove three nights from the middle of the three week booking without changing the check-in and check-out dates completely, but I think it is best to create two bookings based on the information in the link provided - thank you for the quick response!

Just be very careful that YOU don’t cancel the booking or accept the Cancellation if you get a generated email asking if you will as you will be penalised and as your dates will be blocked the guest won’t be able to rebook. Let the guest do it if they want to make two bookings.
