hi Superhost here
my 2 guests brought in 3 people to take showers. (it was approx 7pm ) I am very clear on my rules that this is a 2 person only space, no invited friends to hangout and if this is broken then they will be asked to leave. I already had an indignant text from guests that what could be the issue, no apologies given. Resent my rules and called Airbnb to let them know I wanted them to find another space that night for these guests. Airbnb said I must refund the second night, I disagree that it was not my bill to make sure they get refunded.
Do you agree?

It would depend on your cancellation policy @Juli5
If you want these guests to leave, then you might be best taking the hit and not being paid for the second night.
Do leave an honest review to help warn other hosts.
Thanks Helen,
I think after 3 yrs superhosting, and only a few crap guests, Im lucky.
It is my home and I get some are just clueless.
I believe in an apology would have gone far better than his response. I did not act on the booting, instead I've decided to charge them extra for the use. And leave the review as an undesirable guest, sticking to a hotel and not being in the airbnb community would be a better choice.
Honestly, I did read his last reviews they were random with different names attached to them, I guess he has lent out his account to others to use, so possibly bending the rules of his account seems to be a thread of truth.
Cheers
If you don't want people to stay, @Juli5, you forfeit your right to their payment. What's more important to you; rules being broken or the money?
strict cancellation btw, this is after 7 pm, their second night.
