We used AirBNB recently and the host later claimed we damaged the property. She admitted directly to us on our departure that we didn't cause the damage but to AirBNB she stated otherwise. She even said she had successfully filed fake claims previously with AirBNB. We provided a detailed explanation of the conversation to AirBNB. Now, AirBNB is saying they will deduct our entire security deposit. We've used AirBNB a lot and have always got great reviews but other options like VRBO are looking better and better. How is this fair and what can we do about it?
