hosting one room and also the whole house. I am not sure how i can show both options on my listing

Can someone please let me know how to list both a main room for say a couple, sharing with us, and also show that a family can book the whole house, without us in it.?? Thanks. Eileen

Hi @Eileen44 You will need to create two entirely separate listings in order to achieve this. Be careful to manage your calendar VERY cautiously if you choose this option, because if there is any conflict between your entire space availability, private room availability and your OWN personal occupancy, it will put you (and your guest(s) in jeopardy of a double/over-booking. Calendar management is crucial in the scenario you describe:)

@Eileen44 you'd need to have 2 listings and have instant booking turned off. Then when you get a booking say for the one room you can block off the dates on the whole house listing and vice versa.

Eileen you need a separate listing for each space.

Then really diligent calender management !

Instant Book is your enemy in this situation, turn it off, as its too easy to get a booking for one of the rooms when the whole flat is already let .

I made that mistake once , and whilst I contacted the IB guest within 15 minutes to correct the mistake, it still shows on my ratings as a cancelled booking  and therefore affects my overall rating.
