@Vilma21, AirBnB charges the payment for you.

AirBnB will send your part of the payment to you 24 hours after the guest checks in.

For brand new hosts, your first payment will be held until 30 days after your first booking is confirmed. After the first 30 days are over, your payments will arrive a day after guest check-in like normal.

First off, congrats on starting your listing!

If you haven't already, make sure you have added your bank account in Airbnb so that you can get paid.

Airbnb collects the money from your guests when they book and hangs on to it until the day after they check in (so it is in safe hands and there is no risk of guests not paying).  The day after check in you will get an email from Airbnb that they have sent the payout and it is transfered into your bank account.  It's a super smooth process. 😄

Vilma, I strongly urge you to read all the information on the Airbnb site regarding hosting. It seems a lot of new hosts just get excited about being able to make some extra $ without bothering to familiarize themselves with how it all works.

All the information you asked is very clear on the airbnb website. Take the time to understand it all. Then if you find some of it unclear, come here for help from other hosts, who as you can see, will be quite generous with clarifying things for you.

Thank you for a quick responce back. How do I add my bank information. Is there any tutorial about it?

@Vilma21, you go to your Payout Preferences. You can find this if you go to your Host Dashboard and use the popup menu that appears when you click on your little circle picture. Choose "Settings" and "Payout Preferences" is one of the options on the left.

Or just go here: https://www.airbnb.com/users/payout_preferences/

Hello @Vilma21,

I'm surprised that adding the bank information wasn't one of the steps when you added your listing as when my sister added a listing recently it was one of the automatic steps she had to do.

The help article below describes how to add a method for you to get paid.

How do I edit or change my payout method?

When you log in you can click on "Help" and read articles there. You can use the search box to search for articles on "cancel", "pay", "reservation" etc.

The post below also has lots of helpful information on many topics.
