iPhone airbnb app constantly asking for passport verification

Hello

So, I just recently made a reservation for a place and was asked for the verfication which went ok. However, everytime I leave the app and come back, it says that my request was not sent and that I need to verify my ID. I do this again, it says my request was sent, I close the app and open and the pop up comes up again. Can someone please explain what is the problem here?
