I have been legally hosting an Airbnb space in the town and part of the new regulations requiring a permit, business license etc are supposed to begin starting in 2020. The town has said they want operators to show that they have paid all state and local taxes, accommodation fees etc. when applying for the new permit and upon renewal each year after. Airbnb has been collecting at least some of the taxes which shows up under the gross earnings section, but this does seem to be a clear proof of having paid all the appropriate taxes to each jurisdiction. I have contacted Airbnb customer support and they  could not get me the info i was requesting.

How are other hosts planning on showing the town they have been paying all taxes and accommodation fees when applying for the new permit in 2020?
