manual calendar Availability change - unintended consequences

Changed a Friday/Sat/Sunday from Unavailable to Available on my Calendar, to override Prep Time defaults and make available for holiday weekend booking from Fri/Sat to Sun/Mon.

*I do have a Sunday check-in restriction loaded on the listing.*

Evidently, when you change dates to Available on the Calendar, it overrides any check-in restrictions.

And not just for those dates.

It completely deleted the Sunday Check-in restriction from my booking settings.

Tussling with Support who "waived my cancellation penalty this one time" cuz someone actually booked that Sunday to Monday. I shouldn't need to have anything "waived," right, as the app gives no indication that Check-in restrictions will change when you manually make dates available. ?

Check-in restrictions created by rulesets will remain when dates (where the ruleset is applied to) are made available (again). Check-in restrictions created by basic settings can disappear when dates , unavailable because of preparation time, are made available again. Always be carefull and test listing when changing the availibilty of automatically "blocked" dates. Or use rulesets for more reliable settings !
