I could use a little help with this one. I spent hours surfing the web to fix this but didnt find any help.
It appears this has or is happening to other Airbnb host as well, just wondering if someone had a fix
After downloading the Airbnb app to my Iphone. I noticed that I was not recieving push notifications but my wife was on her phone.
After reviewing the two phones i discovered my phone is missing the app(Badge) in my phone under
Settings
Notifications
Notification style
Without this "Badge" I can not operate an option recieve notifications
Any thoughts?
I also have been having issues with the App on my iPhone not showing notifications (the little red circle with the number corresponding to the number of notifications to respond to) on the Icon. I was on the phone with an Airbnb rep and he helped walk me through uninstalling, then reinstalling the app on my phone, and his test message came through (I saw a red circle pop up on the App Icon), so I thought it was ok - but it is, in fact, not ok. The app is not pushing the notifications, so I am having to rely on constantly checking my email, or going into the app itself, to search for any notifications at all.
I also sent a note to Airbnb, to report a bug a couple of days ago as well as today, so I am eagerly awaiting any changes to improve this issue.

I also have tried everything. Aurbnb support was absolutely useless and my inquiry was left as if just forgotten. They make so much money from me but cant give me the decency of finishing off proffessionally. Good luck and hopefully someone posts a fix.
Having same issue, hoping a fix comes about, constantly checking email would prefer the notifications pop up again
Also having this issue for past month. It was working fine before then suddenly started. Even after two updates, the issue still there. I have to temporarily turn on the text messages function so i can then check the app when message coming.
Can anyone in the IT department can fix this problem. I changed two generation of iPhone and still doesn’t fix. I turned on all kinds of Notifications and still missed the booking request. We are not receptionist can seating in front of the device to monitoring the booking message in and out all the time. This also end up our responding rate goes down.
This is still an issue for us and has been for the past 2+ years: No push notifications and no badge on the iPhone app icon. We have tried all the suggestions. None have resolved the issue. IT department, please look into this.
