First contact AirBnB and let them know - even if you have another appartment your guests might not like it. Ask AirBnB to help find alternative accommodation. Don't cancel anyone as it will affect your ratings.
thanks for your answer, that's exactly what I did, after finding the page with the phone numbers which is nicely hidden, btw. Airbnb cancelled the reservations for me, without penalty...
