permission to have a 60day cancellation policy

I live in a ski resort. Christmas season is a 3 to six months reservation time in advance. If the only option is a strict company cancellation policy then I cannot play. It is impossible to book Xmas vacation 30 days out. Also, what is this about permission to have a 60day out cancellation policy. Who gives permission for this policy and who do they give the permission too?

Hi @David725,

 

Airbnb will invite a host to use the Super Strict Cancellation Policy if they meet the following criteria:

 

- Marquee property, usually with a high rate (e.g. $10,000/night)

- Property is subject to serious seasonality.

- Good track record with both guests and Airbnb.

 

If you meet this criteria, please contact Airbnb and see if they will provide this cancellation policy.

@David725 - as a brand new user, if your property is booked more than a few months out, you should make sure your calendar is up to date.  Right now your calendar is only blocked until the end of December.
