"Is this set up as a dedicated guest space?"

One of the settings in my listing is "Is this set up as a dedicated guest space?" or "No I keep my personal belongings here".

What does this refer to? The part of the house that will be used just for the guests, or the entire building?

In my case, the guests have their own floor containing their private bathroom and bedroom (where I don't store my belongings). They also have shared access to some of the parts of the house used by my wife and I (such as the kitchen and utility room). There are also  other parts of the house that are used exclusively by me and my wife.

What is the correct setting in my case, please?

@Philip90

In your case I would say it refers to their private space  (bedroom/ bathroom) rather than any communal area.

So it means there are no personal effects whatsoever in the private guest space.

Personally I would then update your photos to show the bedroom and bathroom on the top floor without any of your personal items there as right now they are visible.

Looks great...

Hi Gerry and Rashid,

Many thanks, I will do exactly that!

And good point about the photo of the top floor - I took that some time before I cleared out the room and prepared it for guests. A new photo would also show stuff like the much nicer bed linen, coffee machine etc 🙂

Thanks,
Phil
