I have accepted a booking for $70.00 per night for 3 nights in January. I am not getting many bookings and have now reduced myprice to $55.00 per night to attract more . I do not want to cause this existing guest not to trust me, so I must also give him the same price. I believe he as paid the original price to airbnb. I have informed the guest of the new prices. What do I do now. I do not want to pay more commission then I need to for my guest. Nor do I want to charge him the more expenive rent.
On a computer or in a browser (not in the AirBnB app) you just need to click on their itinerary and select "change reservation". Enter the new price and then they will need to accept the change on their end as well.
yes, that's the way. just make sure that in the new price you submit to tye guest, you include your cleaning fee into the subtotal. Airbnb will not add it seperately, so if it all is in $US, that would be 3x55 plus 20 = 165.
It's too late now but why are you offering the lower price, it's very nice of you but if he had booked it at a cheap rate and then you had put your prices up you would have never expected him to pay the higher prices. The price you book is the price you book, surely.
