why is the front page rate cheaper than the callander its misleading to guest

Marie, the front listing page rate is your 'standard rate' you filled in price item. Generally guests are making an inquiry regarding specific date and the site show the specif price you fill for these specific dates in your calendar. It's the same for every hosts.

It would be better if this field was a range.  I have a very seasonal rental that varies from $99-$450/night and it does upset people that they see the $99 then book and it prices out for much more, but I think it's important for me to have the $99 since it entices people to my listing and it's accurate (but sometimes misleading).
