@Myrto0 What a good friend you are!  You will get the credit when your friend has their first reservation with a value of $100 or more.  Here's an excerpt from the Host Referral Terms of Service:

Payment

If you are based in the United States, you will receive 100 USD for the first booking Completed by a Referred Host. If you are based outside the US, you will receive the equivalent in your local currency (i.e., the currency of the payment method that you have selected for payouts). Where applicable, the local currency equivalent will be calculated using a system-wide rate, known as the base exchange rate, for currency conversion using data from one or more third parties, such as OANDA. We regularly update the base exchange rate, but it may not be identical to the real-time market rate.

To qualify for any payouts, the Referred Host’s first received booking must have a value (excluding cleaning fees, taxes, and special offers) of at least 100 USD (or the equivalent in your local currency). The Referred Host has 150 days from the date they are invited to Complete their first booking in order to earn the Payment.

Hope this helps!

Clare, do you know what the new host gets?  I read through the referred host info, but couldn't find anywhere where it said what the new host gets.  2nd question, do you get $100 or $100 credit to use another airbnb?

@Myrna5 I can tell you with certainty the the person who issued the referral for a new host gets a cash bonus of $100, not a Travel Credit, since Airbnb confirmed this to me last July.  Of course, the new host needs to host a qualifying reservation of $100 or more excluding guest fees, Airbnb service fees and taxes, if applicable.

I cannot say with equal certainty that the new host gets a bonus since all of Airbnb help articles are silent on this.  😞
