reservation confirmation

Hi

We are new members of Airbnb community. So we don't know a lot.

Our qestion is related with the booking confirmation. Our gest (we sent the pre-approval) inform us that they sent money  to Airbnb two weeks ago but didn't received any confirmation. We also didn't received any confirmation that everything is OK. Will we as a hosts receive any confirmation from Airbnb that everything is OK and this reservation is approved?

It sounds like this guest sent you a reservation "inquiry" which you gave a "pre-approval".  The guest then needs to confirm the booking which it does not look like that happened.  If the guest books, you will receive a confirmation and and your calendar will be blocked for those dates.  Is you calendar clocked with the guests name?  If not, he did not book and has not paid.  Do not admit them until this is a confirmed booking.
