Hello, I am an AirBnb host and I noticed that if someone attempts to book specific days on your house/apartments/shared room/etc. Then other customers that want to book your house/apartments/shared room/ etc for those specific days are not able to since they cant see your add because it is reserved for that REQUEST. This becomes an issue because if the person that originally requested the house/apartments/shared room/ etc has a low rating, while other potential customers have 5 star ratings, you will be forced to either accept or reject the customer with low rating, and lose the opportunity to accept the 5 start customers that had an interest on your house/apartments/shared room/ etc . Additionally, hotsts are not always on their phone/computer. Therefore, they may be away from the Airbnb app for like 5 hours and more, and that could be 5 hours or more in where numerous customers could be requesting to book your house/apartments/shared room/etc. Essentially, when you call a hotel, they do not book your appartment just for a simple REQUEST. They book it UNTIL YOU PAY. That should be the same mentality here.
