scam?

Hi,

 My wife and I are starting to be a host , we do not have much expericense.  Today I got 2 request for the same day , first cancelled and the second cancell only after asking for my adress and keys with out booking with the site. I was a dummy and gave out my adress only. 

Should I be worried about giving out my adress ?

@Irving0 Oh no!  You should never give out your address.  Only guests with confirmed reservations get the address to your listing.  Yep, I'm afraid these people are trying to scam you in some fashion.

But, here's what you can do.  Go to these people's profile and click on the little flag icon so as to report them to Airbnb.  The fact that they wanted you to give them the key is pretty frightening....good thing you didn't do it.  

You might also follow up with Airbnb and tell them the story.  Have the users' URL handy to give to Airbnb. 

Be sure to be on alert for strangers hanging out in your neighborhood!
