We are experienced short term rental hosts in our own home in San Francisco. We also have a rental property and we just got a notice that our long term tenant is moving out. Can we offer on Airbnb for a long term stay our rental property which is also in the city?

You can but why would you @Vlad-and-Ira0  it gives you minimal protection. Surely you want to credit check any tenants, have a contract, take up references etc.
