Hi Linda, 

I would urge you to only provide your contact information and your address to those who have confirmed bookings for your listing. This information is provided to a guest by Airbnb via email as well as on their profile upon confirmation of a booking. This information and more such as your house rules, manual and directions to the property can be found on the itinerary.

NOOO! Never give out your email to anyone . Even on the Airbnb website your actual email address is not given to guests.  Scammers are very, very good at getting people to give up information they shouldn't and then their accounts get hijacked.  Do you know this person personally or is he a stranger? Did he ask you in an email? In person? What were the circumstances? Please give more info.
