why I am not getting inquires?

why I am not getting inquires?

So I just added my property more than two months ago and until now I didn't receive not even a single inquiry.

The point is: in this place tourism is the main business, my property is amazing, I added many photos (all in high quality), the description is rich in details, price is way fairer than big part of accommodation options in the region... so I have no idea what should I do to start receiving inquiries.

Anybody who passed through the same situation before? Any advice?

Your place is gorgeous, @Cevahir0, and I thought "Cave! That must be unique!" but it looks like you are up against a lot of gorgeous caves in your city. Your listings did come up on the first page for me (in a browser other than the one on which I first looked at your link). So that is good, and your prices look competitive, and your pictures are perfect. No advice to give - just hope it suddenly picks up for you. All the best!

Hi! I'm sorry to hear that you're not gaining much traction on your listings. I'm surprised, too; your property is gorgeous. [personal advertising hidden]

Hope this helps, and good luck with your listing!

@Olivia72, you can send people a private message.

I've seen your post twice in two minutes.

Feels like a commercial that I can't fast forward through.

Aside from it annoying a good many of us, your ad is in violation of ABB policies.

Hi Wendy,

Sorry if my posts bothered you. I'm just trying to reach out to people who I think I can help.  I'm new to this site, and I didn't know messaging is an option. I'll be sure to use that from now on; thanks for letting me know. Feel free to message me personally, then, if you have any further issues.

When I first started booking in guests iIwas very busy, I had 5 star ratings, very good reviews, but I've not had one guest this year, even though I've dropped my price. How can this happen? I can't find a contact either by email or phone.. What is happening?????

@Roslyn Your place looks absolutely wonderful! One thing I'd respectfully suggest is to change the cover photo, the one you have with the TV is not your best, number 4 is so much more charming 🙂

You have many nice reviews from another property but unfortunatelly those stars will not show up on this listing. You need at least 3 guest reviews for the stars to show up. So potential guests might just scroll over your listing as it doesn't have a star rating yet. If you might be able to get just 2 more guests (I'm not sure if you are getting any requests at all) and get their review, I'm sure after the stars would display your traffic would increase.

Your listing actually popped up on the 1st page in your town when I searched :-).

@Cevahir0 You mention many high quality photos but I could only see 2 😞 are you sure they are all uploaded? Maybe travelers would like to see how the complex look like and maybe the village a bit so they'd have an idea where they are going.

Also, I'm not sure if you would be comfortable posting a profile photo, sometimes it's a turn off for guests not to see a human picture.

Your place is amazing and the description is lovely so hopefully you'll have guests soon!

Hey @Monika64

You couldn't see all the high quality photos of my properties because of the changes I did in order to get bookings. Before I had 5 rooms to rent, all with a higher price than big part of the properties at the same area.

Now I am in an "experiment", with only one room for rent, with a lower price... well, let's see what it's gonna happen during the next few months. But thanks for the idea of a profile photo featuring myself and some extra pictures of the region.

A couple of suggestions

1. Include some photos of the terraces, restaurant and bar so people can see the areas you talk about in your description. Also take some photos of the village so people can imagine themselves there. People like to understand what sort of area they are staying in.

2. Hosts are meant to include a photo of themselves in their profile with a description about themselves. This engenders trust, so I woul advise you to look at changing your profile photo showing a building.

3. Give people an idea about the wider area. Will they need a car. How far is the nearest airport? What local attractions are nearby? Describe what sort of guests would be happy at your place? Couples? Friends? Family? Are there  local cafes and restaurants?

4. If you have additional rooms I would list them separately so they show in your profile and mention this in each listing, then larger groups can consider staying with you.

Good luck

My property is in a summer resort and rentals are allways during  the month of June, July and August.  So far I have 4 rentals for the whole summer and I am not getting any more inquiries.  I own this unit for 27 years and this is the first time that I have this problem

Hi @Roslyn12

Sorry to hear that - your place is lovely.

However I checked your listing and all the dates are blocked out for July, August and September - not sure if others are blocked.

This will be why you aren't getting bookings
