why is Airbnb receiving 12% on this, i thought they took 3%

@Shanti1 you need to spend some time getting familiar with the terms and conditions. Airbnb charges hosts a 3% service fee and there can also be an exchange rate conversion fee of about 3%. Hosts service fees are 3% but there is also a Guest service fees and they are are typically 6-12% but can be higher or lower depending on the specifics of the reservation.
