Habe gerade genau das selbe erlebt. Erst nette Emails, 22 Photos der Wohnung und persönlicher Austausch, dann der angebliche Airbnb-Contract. Hab ihr sogar auf Englisch zurück geschrieben, weil sie so nett war und vorgab, nicht gut Deutsch zu sprechen. Hier alle drei Emails von einer 'Katariina ****' aus 'Finnland' 😉

Ich schreibe Ihnen über das Interesse an meiner Wohnung.
Wohnungsspezifikationen:Die Wohnung befindet sich in: Mettmanner Str. ****, 40721 Hilden.
Die Wohnung profitiert auch von einem Parkplatz, Keller, Video-Gegensprechanlage, Doppelverglasung, Panzertür,
Oberflächen und Materialien, die mit Geschmack und Sorgfalt ausgewählt wurden.
Die monatliche Miete beträgt 600 € inklusive aller von mir zu zahlenden Rechnungen (Wasser, Heizung, Strom, Kabel-TV).
Als Garantie zahlen Sie mir 1.800 €, das ist die Kaution, die Sie beim Auszug aus der Wohnung zurückerhalten.
Der einzige Grund, warum die Miete niedriger ist, ist, dass ich die Wohnung besitze und frei von Maklerprovisionen bin, die manchmal unverschämt sein können.

Letztes Jahr habe ich hier in Finnland ein 10-jähriges Projekt erhalten. Meine Familie und ich beschlossen, nach Finnland zurückzukehren,
weil es für uns sehr schwierig ist, getrennt zu bleiben. Auch meine Eltern brauchen unsere Hilfe in diesen schwierigen Zeiten, wir haben Angst vor diesem Virus!

You can rent the apartment for as long as you like as we have no intention of returning to Germany any time soon.The keys to the apartment are here with us and I have no friends or anyone else in Germany who can give you a tour of the apartment can.
I want to use AirBnb to sign the agreement as I took 3 days off to show the apartment to someone interested in renting and when I got there they called me and said he wanted my apartment no longer. I wasted money and time. I don't want that to happen again. That's why I left a copy of the keys with AirBnb. He will send an agent and you will visit the apartment in his presence. You can sign the contract on the day of the visit if you decide to rent my apartment. They also handle money and documents so we are both protected and secured.

Please allow me to explain how AirBnb works:
(This situation is also due to this coronavirus situation.)
First I need your data:
- Name of the future tenant.
- A picture of you, a document;
- Direct phone number;
- Date you want to move into the apartment:
-Approach:
Once I receive the details I will send a request to AirBnb and you will receive an invitation from the company to make the reservation on your behalf.
You pay no additional fees or charges.
You only pay the first month + deposit (2 months that you get back at the end of your contract) to assure the company that you will receive the first payment and will meet the agent on the day of the visit.
AirBnb will contact you with the invoice and all the information. Once you have received the data, you need to make the deposit into the escrow account.
We are from different countries so this is the only option. Once the company has received the deposit confirmation, it will send it with the keys and documents to the designated representative. The agent will arrange the visit and if you decide to rent the apartment you will need to sign the rental agreement.
If you refuse the apartment, you will be fully refunded the same day. I have a contract with the company and they offer the best security methods available. I am waiting for your reply as I also have other tenants who are interested in the apartment and I will also attach some pictures here with us and my ID card.
I expect you to be a serious person and I will ask that you only send me the details if you understand the process and agree to proceed.
