It is quite a shock when you get an email from Airbnb saying that your listing may be suspended because you got a 4.3 star rating from the last guest!  Especially, since all other ratings are well above this and this individual may have had a different rating system in their head to everyone else!  This obvious anomaly should not jeopodise the overall positive rating and should be seen as an individual variationsthat needs to be isolated and monitored over a longer period to see if there is a real decline.  I asked why the guest rated communication, accuracy and checkin as 3 stars where all other ratings are 5 stars on these but they did not respond.  Unsure what their expectations are but they were welcomed exactly like all valued guests.  I agree the star rating needs some clarification as the subjectivity of individual guests makes it far to subjective for accuately rating the stay to have real meaning.
