Business Travel : Exceptions

I live right next to HP headquarters for Boise, ID.  Loads of HP people live in the neighborhood.  So, my place would be a perfect place for a consultant, intern, etc to stay.  But, I have pets.  And there is no private entrance to the guest suite downstairs so it isn't a private home/apt.  Nonetheless, I think it would be a great place for a business person to stay.  So far, everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and commenting on the quiet, comfort, and nice things.  So I wish that there was a way for businesses to approve "non business travel ready" places.  Or for certified business travelers to have places they "recommend" for business travel.

I have pets, too, but mine live in my private area and are not in the guest area at all.

This is the one thing that keeps me from making the BTR status.

I don't understand the restriction of pets on BTR. Most people love pets; they are the hit of my guests. Let the business traveler make the decission to stay or not, once they see you have pets.
