Calendar view - first day of the week

I am from Slovenia where we are used to have Monday as the first day of the week. As there is no Slovenian language available for the site, I use the English version which has a calendar view set to Sunday as the first day of the week by default.

I have noticed that, for example, German or Czech site have Monday as the first day of the week in their calendars. I understand both languages a bit, but I feel a lot more comfortable with English.

So, to not make me (and others) confused about people booking at the end of the week from Saturday to Monday (although it is booked Friday-Sunday), can there be an option to set your calendar view to your first day of the week (Monday or Sunday)? At least with the website in English since it's the "international" language...

Sunday is typically the first day of the week in the US although most people feel Monday really is.  I don't see it as a big deal if I had to use Monday as the first day of the week but a check box for which day to use could make administration difficult from an Airbnb standpoint.  When in Rome, do as the Romans.

I want and option to have Monday as the first day of the week. Life consist of more than AIrBnb, and it is annoying to come home and find the guest at your ntrance one day before you expected them.

Incredible that this is not a setting (at least I could not find it). I really want it as well, at least for the hosting pages (if language controls the others, it is fine).

To get rid of the confusion, I am now using the Czech version of the website for hosting, which makes it also a default language to sending me e-mail (in Czech)... 🙂 I guess I'll have to learn Czech more until AirBnb decides to add an option to view the English version of the calendar staring with Monday or Sunday.

English is not only American but also British and Australian and other variations, so there should be an option for "British view"...

I don't think there would be much difficulties for Airbnb in their administration if they made another language site in British English where Monday would be the first day of the week - it would be the same as the Czech, German, Japanese etc., if the checkbox on one English site could complicate things...

Everywhere in the world except the US, the week starts on Monday. Since AirBnB is operating in other countries, and not just in USA, it should follow locale settings of the whole world, not just the US.

I live in the US, and I'm sorry, but Monday is the beginning of every week. The week ends with the "weekend" (which is why we call it that, strange I know). I can't believe anybody thinks Sunday starts a week.

Please either add the option in the settings, or simply change it so monday is permanently the first day of the week. Nobody anywhere considers Sunday the first day of the week, regardless of what any official, historical or cultural "rules" may say. Having Sunday shown as the first day, only creates confusion, problems and annoyances.

I'm American and I totally agree that our practice of showing Sunday as the first day is just silly. Otherwise, why call it the week*end*? Maybe it's because our corporate overlords want us to see and think about our upcoming work week even before it has begun. 

Anyway, surely Airbnb could have a simple checkbox setting to accomodate it either way, just as it is in all Apple iCal calendars. Can Airbnb please update us on this request?

Safari starts the week on Monday

Chrome starts the week on Sunday

Never mind when the week in theory starts according to the country you live in, that is of no significance and in any event we all have differing perceptions of this.

In my case I prefer ABNB's calendar to start on a Monday quite simply because it's easier to block change rates for weekend nights.  Now what's a weekend?  For some it starts Wednesday, for my bookings it's Friday - Sunday.  

Any idea how to change this at least in chrome?
