Have a way for your hosts to contact you!!!! It is obvious you have made a conscious choice to make contacting you nearly impossible.  Why is there not a link right at the bottom of the page to customer service with an email and a phone option like every other major company operating on the internet.

Or at the very least have email or chat available for hosts AND clearly visible on every page where hosts can more easily contact a person skilled in hosting issues.

Last Dec 2015 I had a great experience with a "chat" person from Airbnb who help me and my guest out on a next day booking that my guest could not complete on her app.  -  But I don't remember how I got to that chat button and now I can't find it anymore.

Airbnb please bring back "chat" or put it out front where hosts can find it.  I don't do twitter or Facebook.

I tried to call customer service and was on hold for 17 minutes, ended the call to pick up an incoming call, then called again and was on hold for 19 minutes before someone answered. They played THE SAME SONG while you're on hold, it was driving me crazy!!!!

I was so surprised when a few days ago, an option to chat appeared. It was very slow. (took a full hour with lots and lots of waiting to resolve a small issue.) However, it was nice to have chat rather than holding on a phone line.

I agree completely! It's almost impossible. Very frustrating. A company that makes so much money surely can afford to have a customer care team!

I was surprised to find it to and it was not easy. Don't know if I could find it again and if it is still there. I went to the help drop down menu and selected "about something else" and then a choice popped up to chat. It was very slow but something!

I have caled Airbnb at least 15 times over the last 2 years and have never run into the issues the above comments have stated?

@Steve2 Yes, I called that same number with a question about taxes.  I got two email replies, the person I spoke to was helpful.  People generally only comment when things do not go well.

I was preparing to book with Airbnb for a one month stay at a place I found. However, I have a question that cannot be answered by the help section. After spending 20 min. going in circles, I cannot seem to find a way to contact anyone at Airbnb. No email, no chat, no phone.. I am leaving this site and not booking due to this. In addition, ALSO as an Airbnb host, I am going to consider pulling my listings down if I don't find a way to reach Airbnb soon.
