Too often do I get someone who instant book as 1 guest but are traveling as 2 or more. When asked to correct their mistake, most of them complain they don't want to pay extra for adding an extra guest. They end up cancelling and yet asking for full refund.
My suggestion to airbnb, is to make the Guest Count or Tab crucially visible to Guest. Perhaps the first thing they see or have to click on when trying to book.
With Instant booking, Guest Count should be among the last check off list before guest finalize their booking.
