Currently the "Earnings" information that you can download from Airbnb is misleading at best. They attribute earnings to the date that the earnings are paid to you, however the payment may be for days spanning two months. This can make it difficult to get a true picture of your monthly earnings. For example, if you have a booking that spans 5 weeks, starts the last week of January and runs through the full month of February, your Stats for February will show 100% occupancy and $0. Clearly, this is not a true picture of what happened with your listing. I believe Airbnb could likely easily introduce another way of showing earnings which is linked to actual occupancy for the month in question. This would help hosts to see if they are covering their costs for any given month and reduce the amount of manual accounting/book keeping that needs to be done.
Please consider this simple change/addition as it would be more representative of what most hosts are trying to see but currently having to do manually. This could be shown alongside the current earnings calculation or as an alternate view.
