Property Occupancy Experience

I have   a two bedroomed cottage and 1 guest wants it for a month. The cost goes up by number of guests. I feel I am short changing myself if I take the person up and might miss out on families and more income. Does that not give me the bad host impression. What are your expereinces as I am new to this.

Hi Lillian

Of course it doesn't - you just want to generate the most income you can.

You can of course turn down this inquiry, but then you run the risk of your property not being occupied during this period for some/all of the time by a higher number of visitors.

Have a look at what else is available locally in your area that is similar on BnB and then you can make a judgement call about whether to hold out for a better offer or accept the booking for one person.
