I find that Airbnb has turned from a friendly way to host to a demanding one. As a host, for a start, I must keep up with my listings which I prepared carefully but right now they are always needing somenthing else. The idea of receiving ways in a family home is becoming more like booking at a hotel.
Another item: you don´t pay attention in your ¨improvements¨ to what every city is like: Buenos Aires buildings are very strong, walls and foundations are different from the sort of construction in other parts of the world so that asking for smoke detectors in unthinkable. Insurance companies don´t even rule for that because of very light risk offered.
