How to Add Photos & Video to Scheduled Messages (Aug 2025)

Hosts can add photos and videos to scheduled messages to assist guests with the check-in process and how to use appliances or other amenities. Typical guest questions could include: 

 

  • Where do I park? (photo of parking area with arrows)
  • Am I in the right place? (photo of front door)
  • How do I use the garage door opener keypad? (video)
  • How do I use the smart lock or lock box with key? (video of how to unlock/lock the door or lock box)
  • How does the hot tub work? (video demonstrating use of hot tub)
  • How do I use the propane fire pit? (video)
  • How do I use the TV remote? (video)
  • How do I use the soundbar for the TV? (video)
  • How does the thermostat work? (video)
  • How do I use the propane fireplace (video)
  • How does the washing machine work? (video)
  • How do I separate the recycle items for trash (video)

 

Send Photos or Video in Messages

To Add Photos/Video to A Scheduled Message:

 

  1.           Today Page
  2.           Choose Messages
  3.           Tap cog icon top right (settings)
  4.           Choose Manage Quick Replies
  5.           Select Message to Edit Left Panel
  6.           Click anywhere inside message middle panel
  7.           Click (+) sign bottom left
  8.           Upload photos or video
  9.           Click Done
  10.           Photo or Video thumbnail appears at bottom of message
  11.           Select Listings you want message to apply to right panel
  12.           Set Schedule for Message right panel
  13.           Tap Save

 

*It is suggested to keep videos short – 1min or less

**Use “X” on thumbnail to delete photo/video
