This is not an AIRBNB problem it is a Trip Advisor Rentals issue but I think it is important to inform my fellow hosts how you can be caught out by TA regulations regarding instant book. It was my mistake in not reading the rules regarding instant book on TA, THEY DO ACCEPT THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS, so a local authority can book your home for problem guests without informing you! I will not go into the issues we had last weekend regarding a booking from the local council but surfice to say my cleaner threatened to leave, the guest next door complained and I personally was disgusted!!!!!! I have now turned off instant book on TA and added to my house rules no third party bookings. I screwed up but hopefully you guys out there will not do the same!
