AirBnB Service Fee of 18%

it seems that lately and without any notice, AirBnB increased the service fee - from my guests it is taking 15% (15eur on 100eur booking) and 3% from me, the host - so a total of 18% 

is it like this everywhere?

Nothing new. This is as it's always been.

really? I was under the impression that the guest service fee was much less than 15%

host fee was always 3%

I do not charge a cleaning fee, well I do everybody does but not itemised, always assumed that the fee applied to the gross.

I'm pretty sure it does.  So $15/120 = 12.5% service fee, which is in line with the norm.
