Airbnb Plus

Airbnb Plus

Is it true that Airbnb has severed it's ties with the Airbnb Plus division?
That would make sense, as Airbnb Plus 'service' is basically non-existant and unresponsive.
But I can't find anything in the news about it.

We were in the process of getting a couple properties setup with Plus, but then covid hit and one by one, the team we were working with were being let go. We feel so bad for the team because they were awesome and great to work with. Now we're kind of stuck in limbo after having made all the improvements.

@Al-And-Leslie0  As you might have heard, Airbnb laid off a quarter of its staff. In the initial announcement, Brian said the "Airbnb Luxe" program was being terminated. There wasn't a mention of Airbnb Plus, but I would expect that this feature is also going to be phased out. Airbnb is going to have to move away from curated collections and "new tiers of homes" as it automates more of its operations. As @Pete17  mentioned, there don't seem to be any employees left on projects that collaborate directly with hosts.

Hiya @Al-And-Leslie0 @Pete17 ,

Regarding application to the Plus programme, we sent out emails to all Plus hosts and applicants yesterday so please check your inbox/spam folder.

Thanks,

Stephanie

Airbnb Plus was terrible anyways.

Not that it comes as much of a surprise, but it appears that Airbnb Plus has left the building..
