Hi, I´am Airbnb host too but with little experience. I am testing implementing a software to control light, home appliances, security etc, I want to know:

Which are the main problems at the time to rent an airbnb house distant from you?

What aspects you prefer to monitor and control from your smartphone?

I hope to have information for to make a useful and attractive solution for airbnb host and resolve their problems, thanks!!

the main problems we have are:

- guests close but don't lock the entrance door with a key

- abuse A/C or heating

- they don't properly close the windows while heating or A/C is on

- invite visitors to the property

Thanks Branka, I'm working setup a automatic home systems by internet to control this situation, now I can to control the A/C, Heating, unlock or lock doors and advice if windows are open. I'll try how to know when they invite visitors. Is a shame now I' m just work installing and setup this system locally, thank you for you help.
