Airbnb sharing 'at risk of being suspended' because we don't rent our home enough?
I find this note: 'Your account could be suspended if you don’t focus on improving to meet Airbnb hosting standards' on my hosting dashboard to be a little misleading as when I click on the 'view details' button I'm taken to my stats page where it's shared with me that I've received 5 star reviews and have an excellent response rate. Airbnb's only feedback is that I'm not yet a 'super host' because we choose to only rent our personal home in the summer and not year round. That's the point of Airbnb, right? To be able to freely choose when to rent our home? In all of the hosting we've offered over the past four years we've had to cancel on one guest (months in advance due to a family issue). Airbnb, the 'your account could be suspended if you don't focus on improving hosting standards' message is quite unnerving for this host! Just a note that perhaps you could consider different wording or better explain what we're doing wrong as 5 star hosts?
It is misleading @Morgan55 because they are actually talking about the cancellation as that is a big no-no. Plus, you must have some low scores in Accuracy, Cleanliness and Value because those star scores are lower. Did you get one guest who just bashed you? The notices that Airbnb sends are typically automated, so it's not helpful if they can't actually tell you what's the problem.
