Hi all,
Sorry, another bed question.
I have a 3br house, and 1 of the bedrooms is 15.5'x10.5' (4.7m x 3.2m). I need to fit sleeping space for 4 in that bedroom (for our own purposes as a vacation house, not just because of AirBnB... the other 2 bedrooms have 1 king bed each).
I can't decide the best way to do this. Options would be:
1) 2 queen (150cm) beds. Would fit the 18" wide bedside tables I have on the outer edges, then a 30" space in between the beds.
2) 1 queen bed & 1 double (135cm) bed. Gives extra 5" between the beds.
3) 1 queen bed & 1 futon that becomes a double bed
For us, we'll need to sleep 4 adults in that space. For the AirBnB, I'll list it as fitting 3. Reading other posts, I'm getting the feeling that guests are likely going to be unhappy with 2 queens as it will cramp the space? The room has 2 reasonably sized closets (1 is 4ft. long, the other is just about 3ft long). I feel like the double will look better but not really give that much more space to the room. The futon would make for a nicer space, but poorer sleep experience. Thoughts?
