Anyone else seeing a huge increase in Host Referral Price?

Last March our host referral was $125 as of last week it had increased to $300. Today it's now $360. To me this indicates that they are losing a lot of hosts in my area. What about your area? Are you seeing huge increases also?

You get an extra 20% for being a superhost, but yes they've definitely ramped up growth efforts with these incentives.

I think that just like the ride sharing apps are always "hiring" drivers, airbnb will never cease to aggresively recruit new hosts, whether or not existing ones are leaving or not.

Letti, mind if I join here as a noob and kindly ask you to check what the terms and Refer page says for you now? I've been back and forth for hours with AirBnb support right now because I referred someone for a $360 bounty and I only received $300 in the end. They are adamantly claiming that it's been $300 since 26th of March 2018. Because that's what the Terms and Conditions page claims (https://www.airbnb.com/refer/terms_and_conditions)

Meanwhile I found countless articles and mentions of hosts ( including a couple from you, thank you ) about the bounty being $360. I just wanna know if our Terms or Refer pages are showing a different amount (you as a Superhost, me as having lost it). I have recently had to cancel on a booking and lost Superhost status, which would explain the reduction from $360 to $300 (20% as Douglas said) - but considering the eligible booking was done when I was a Superhost, I would be entitled to the full amount.

It has been $360 here for a long time, which doesn't make much sense since hosts are treated as easily replaceable by the company.

@Peter1247  It's $360 since August I believe. In the terms they state that they have the right to payout what they want. I don't think too many people actually get the full amount from what I have read here and on other forums. From the terms: Whether a payout is due shall be a decision made in the sole discretion of Airbnb.
