Automatic Review Hurting My Listing - How can I comment on it?

Automatic posting screen shotIn October 2015, my travel plans were canceled + my son had leave from the Army at the same time that I had a booking for a business group to occupy my whole home while they were in town for a conference.  I found three alternate listings of the same value and reputations as my home before calling the guest to see if they would be open to changing their reservation.  They were very kind and very open to the change.  I made it easy for them to say no by assuring them that if it had been too much to ask, I would gladly have made other arrangements for my son and myself.  They were so understanding  and accomodating and I stayed on the phone with them while they reserved another place to stay.  Then I canceled the reservation because I did not want them to pay a penalty.

Suddenly, this automatic posting https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/2671274#reviews appeared and I cannot do anyting about it!  I believe it is hurting my listing because I haven't gotten any other inquiries since then.  Also, the upcoming guests from the bookings that were already in place keep contacting me to see if everything is "still OK" with their reservations!

Can someone help?   Can Airbnb allow for comments on postings like this?  It is hurting my listing and I really love sharing my home!

Thank you for any help you can give me.

@Bridget3 Unfortunately you should have reviewed Airbnb's policies on host cancellations before cancelling.  And you should have contacted Airbnb to see if they would have waived the associated penalties including the automated review that you cancelled.  You can still appeal but they might not be too sympathetic since hosts cancel on guests all the time causing great inconvenience (not in your case though).  Was the conversation with this guest you mention on your Airbnb message thread?  If so, it might help your case.  If you haven't already, you need to read these Airbnb help articles:

Hi @Bridget3,

I am curious if you ever contacted Airbnb to see if there is anything they could do.  I have read your message under your profile but I would think Airbnb would possibly delete it for you since you did find alternative accommodations and worked with the guest throughout this issue.  I believe it is worth a try.  Let me know how this works out for you.
