In October 2015, my travel plans were canceled + my son had leave from the Army at the same time that I had a booking for a business group to occupy my whole home while they were in town for a conference. I found three alternate listings of the same value and reputations as my home before calling the guest to see if they would be open to changing their reservation. They were very kind and very open to the change. I made it easy for them to say no by assuring them that if it had been too much to ask, I would gladly have made other arrangements for my son and myself. They were so understanding and accomodating and I stayed on the phone with them while they reserved another place to stay. Then I canceled the reservation because I did not want them to pay a penalty.
Suddenly, this automatic posting https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/2671274#reviews appeared and I cannot do anyting about it! I believe it is hurting my listing because I haven't gotten any other inquiries since then. Also, the upcoming guests from the bookings that were already in place keep contacting me to see if everything is "still OK" with their reservations!
Can someone help? Can Airbnb allow for comments on postings like this? It is hurting my listing and I really love sharing my home!
Thank you for any help you can give me.
