Automatic replies to Reservation Confirmations

At one time, I distinctly remember finding a sport where a host can setup an automatic reply email to guests once they confirm their reservation.  I would like to add to that email, but cannot find that place again.  Any ideas where it is?

Thank you,

I've been hosting for over a year and haven't seen that option.  I think you have to respond to each individually.

Check out http://superhosttools.com. You can set it up to automatically respond to inquiries and bookings which has been a life saver for me.  I also use it to send a message 2 days before the guest arrives with check-in instructions, a message after thier first night to see if they need anything and a message the night before they leave to remind them about the check-out time.  I don't know what I would do without it now!

HI Jenny and Tom, my name isSyreeta and I need some help with hosting my property. Can you give me some advice/pointers/recommendations?

Thank you

How about a no cost option - Airbnb?

Hi @KevinANDrew0,

I believe you are referring to the "First Message" which is under Instant Book.  When somoen uses Instant Book, you can have a first message sent to them automagically.

Where does one find "Instant Book"?

@Gail-And-Paul0  Go to Manage Listing.  To the right of the picture of your listing, you'll see a lightening bolt.  That's it.  Before you turn it on, be sure to read all about Instant Book including the cancellation policy.

Hey there, I've been hosting for a while now too, and I definitely recall the feature you're looking for. In fact, I found this thread because I'm looking for the same!

You might be referring to the "Directions and helpful hints" section, under "Location".

Hi - I tried this part - I had put 'full directions will be provided on confirmation of booking.'

I'm CERTAIN I could find the message before and I need to update some public transport details. If anyone can find their message sent as itinerary for a booking, I would be most grateful!

Fiona

Im looking for this too. My guest just told me that some old info was sent to her in an email, but I can't find the place to edit this email, or turn it off even better.

Go to Manage Your Settings and click the edit button under House Rules. Then click the edit button under Guest Requirements. Scroll down to Guest trip information, and write your message in the box - then save. I hope this helps.

Thanks but this is limited to a certain amout of characters and I used to have a long email with all the directions and instructions needed that was automatically sent out.   It actually appears in thier itinerary still BUT I need to update it and cannot find it anywhere!

Marie385 thank you for proving to me that I am not crazy.  I set this up as well.  It was automatically sent out to my guest who reserved my cottage.  It included pictures with arrows showing my guests exactly where to turn pictures of what to look for when driving down the driveway a picture of the key hanging on the hook inside the cottage and it is all gone POOF vanished.  I have spent the last 2 hours scouring my  airbnb site looking for this information to update it because some things have changed and when I reached out on a chat they eluded my questions as to what I was talking about and really made me feel like I was crazy that this never existed when i know it did and according to you still does.  However, WE NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO THIS INFORMATION!!!!  How incredibly frustrating makes me want to look at other websites to switch to for marketing my cottage on.   Lesley
