Hi all, Just wondering if anyone can give me a heads up about how your fall bookings were in past years. I have been full since I started in the spring and not sure if I should continue through the fall and winter in BC. I love doing Airbnb and don't want to stop however felt I should check in case everything quiets down and come up with another alternative. Thanks in advance, Mheyah
I am wondering the same thing, although I'm in Denver. Do bookings generally fall off in the fall/winter season?
I just finished a full year hosting. I've found that I get the same amount of bookings as summer, but I have to drop my prices due to decreased demand. There's not as many tourists, bit people still travel for business year round. Especially someplace like Vancouver.
That said, going by last year, if you want to take a break from hosting, or make any improvements to your suit, January/February is the time to do it. Those seemed to be the slowest months for me (I took the opportunity to paint the suite).
This will be my first season for Fall bookings. September was busy and I only have the first 10 days available in October. So far not booked.
Hi, I am a new host. I am also wondering about the same thing. The booking for the summer is pretty good. Shoud I continue or switching to homestay students? What's the occupancy rate like from November to April? I am located around Riley Park area, how low do I need to adjust the price for the low season in order to get booking?
Thank you.
