We are wondering if anybody has experience with body corporate rules and Airbnb. Our complex insists on leases of at least 3 months, but does not talk about other forms of rental agreements that do not involve leases. We think this is a grey area. We know Airbnb recommends checking rules before hosting, but think that Airbnb is much like Uber in terms of being a new option not thought of previously. For example Airbnb allows one to check the credentials of people applying so it is much more secure than normal holiday or B& B renting.
We see there was a court case recently in Australia and wonder if there are anymore experiences
