I just started renting place about a month ago and don't have much knowledge how the CRA works with Airbnb, except they talk and share information. I am putting 30% away from every booking. However, I was told to keep all the receipts of whatever I have spent. This is my Primary property, but because of work, I stay in town a lot. What should I expect next year? I know you all are pretty well-versed in it and I thought I can get some help from you guys. I don't want to get in trouble next year because I forgot to keep a receipt or forgot to write down the mileage of my car after every trip. Can you guys please assist me with this, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
