I am FURIOUS with Airbnb!
Wondering why, for several weeks no bookings were coming in, I looked at my calendars from the guest perspective.
There I discovered that dates on both accommodations showed as booked. The majority are weekends - our busiest time!
I checked that all my settings were correct, I then phoned the help phone number. Since August 4th, I have had an ongoing conversation thread open. The girl in the call centre continues to apologise but gives no explanation and the problem is NOT getting fixed! The prices on both calendars are also strange. The recommended price tips are much higher than our rooms normally book for. This is our busiest time of the year and we have a holiday weekend coming up in early October.
Guests cannot book because the dates are blocked!!! We have holiday weekend coming up and noone can book!
Airbnb is the only site I use and have held continuous Superhost status for nearly 5 years. This is my only income (apart from a very small part pension) so it means that I currently have NO INCOME.
I am at a loss as to what to do next.
Any suggestions?
