Calendar

I have my calendar set to show availability for 12 months.  As new dates become available, the prices are not correct.  Is there a way to make the pricing for new dates 12 months from now match the current pricing?  For instance, I am charging $405. per night this week.  The calendar for the same week in 2019 shows $170. per night.  I am not using Smart Pricing.  I don't have time to go in every day and check prices for that day 12 months from now.  I think the calendar should mimc my current pricing until I go in and chenge them.

Hello @Dale93 ,

You probably have set custom prices for specific weeks or months. They are only for the specific week in the specific year (as displayed in the section, which features this pricing up to 1 year ahead from now). If new weeks become available at the 'booking horizon' nights will be priced to the basic price setting.

Hope this helps, Emiel

Ernie,

Yes, I have set custom prices for specific weeks or months, even days.  What is the benefit of doing that if it reverts to a basic price setting the following year?  As a result, I have to deny  requests because someone feels they can take advantage of the basic price (which is usually lower) and I feel a little bit like a shyster, even though I never explicitly set the price.

@Dale93 Set your base price higher - oh, but then you won't show up with a 'carrot' low price when people research the area so you probably won't like that option. I'm not sure why you say 'take advantage of the lower price' - it's the advertised rate for the accommodation. by not accepting their booking you are basically trying to entice people to your listing and then charging them more. Not on.

I am not trying to take advantage of people.  I just want to charge the same rates next year as I do this year.  I have not set my base price to entice people.  Don't be a troll @Gillian19.
