Call for evidence – rent-a-room relief (UK)

The UK government has recently launched a consultation about the rent a room scheme, whereby people letting out rooms are exempted from paying income tax up to a certain threshold. People have until February to respond and many hosts might want to express their views about the importance of this scheme and how it benefits consumers/guests as much as those offering accommodation. It is available on the gov UK website or can easily be found with a general search.
